IDM-Systems Zrt. has successfully completed its first industrial simulation project, in which we modeled the logistics and transportation system of a domestic manufacturing company. The goal was to create a reliable simulation model based on real data that would help optimize material flow and manufacturing logic.
During the project, we processed a significant amount of manufacturing data, which we pre-filtered, transformed, and integrated into the simulation environment. We validated the results of the simulation modeling real product movements from several perspectives: we examined the timing of product appearance, sequence, and material flow accuracy.
The manufacturing line was divided into three logical units and designed as a modular model, allowing for the independent development and testing of individual components. After final integration and validation, the results confirmed that the simulation accurately reflects real manufacturing processes!
Through training on the use of the simulation model, the project results provide significant support for the client's process analysis and optimization goals, laying the foundation for further digitalization developments.
